What’s New

I am an Artist

When people ask what I do I tell them I am an artist.  But really I think of myself more as a person who makes paintings.  What I feel about being an “artist” is hard to put into words.  It has to do with feelings, energy and connecting my mind, body and spirit.  I am inspired by light, color and pattern.  The more I paint, the more I become engaged in making paintings.  It is more about the process than the end product.  Painting, when its really flowing for me is a meditation.  I make paintings because it is part of who I am, it’s just something I need to do.

You will find Carol’s work in the current exhibit at Hammond Harkins Galleries in Columbus, Ohio.  The exhibit is scheduled to be on view from January 24 to March 15, 2020 with an Opening Reception on Friday, January 24.
